NASCAR and The Prevention Plan at Daytona

Check out the Nationwide Drive4COPD 300 race this weekend at Daytona or on ESPN 2 and you’ll see The Prevention Plan as the lead sponsor of Derrike Cope’s car #28.   What better way to let people know about the benefits of Prevention than at a race dedicated to identifying and preventing COPD. Here’s some info from the Drive4COPD website:

DRIVE4COPD aspires to put the brakes on America’s 4th leading cause of death by helping people identify COPD symptoms and encouraging them to talk to their doctor.

As a NASCAR fan I’m excited by the opportunity to take the message of prevention to one of the largest sport followings in the world at one of its most famous tracks in a car driven by a former Daytona 500 winner.

Remember to watch the race on ESPN2 at 1:15 this Saturday, and you can also follow Derrike Cope at Facebook.  The Press release announcing our sponsorship is here.

Looking forward to Victory Lane!
